House Fete Raises Funds for Charity
Students and staff enjoyed a lively lunchtime House Fete, raising £350 for three chosen charities: Pegasus House (YoungMinds), Griffin House (Waterloo Schools Charity), and Phoenix House (Neath’s Nails).
Each tutor group ran its own stall, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere across the school. Activities included sports challenges such as basketball shootouts, penalty shootouts, and football games, alongside creative stalls like glitter tattoos, face painting, and hair tinsel.
Popular games included “Guess the Teacher Baby Photo”, “Guess How Many Sweets Are in the Jar”, and a lucky dip, while food stalls like Pick ‘N’ Mix and fizzy drink pong were a big hit. Highlights also included blind karaoke, hook-a-duck, and the crowd-favourite “Duct Tape the Teacher to the Wall.”
The event was a great success, bringing the school community together while raising valuable funds for charity.
