Admissions

Every day is an Open Day

Please find our 2020 – 2021 Admissions proposal HERE

Call and arrange to visit the school at any time, on any day that we are open.

The date for the return of application forms to the Admissions Service was 31st October 2018.

Offers of places in the secondary transfer group (for entry in September 2019) will be posted to the child’s home address on 1st March 2019.

If the school is full in the year group another place can be offered provided that:
 no other applicants have been refused places in the same year group – wherever they live
 the child is living or moving into the school’s priority area
 the school is willing.

Please note: If you live outside of Warwickshire, you can still apply for a place at Studley High – see below for information!

Feedback from parents:

We recently attended your Open Evening for prospective new pupils. My husband, myself and our daughter found the event very well presented and we had the pleasure of having a tour of your school by a lovely young lady called Sophie from Year 11. I  would like to relay to yourselves what a fantastic ambassador she was for your school, so well mannered and knowledgeable. She was able to answer any questions openly and honestly and has definitely confirmed our wishes for our daughter to attend Studley High School in September. Please can you pass on our appreciation to both Sophie and Mr Gray.

Nick & Tracey A – October 2018

What an incredible place. It’s clear that the staff here are completely committed to providing an excellent education and experience for the pupils.

Mr & Mrs J, July 2018

Thank you very much for arranging our visit to your school this morning.

Would you please pass on our thanks to Mr Eost for taking the time out of his busy day to spend so much time with us, his enthusiasm for the school was evident in every area that we visited. It was also clear that all of the students that we encountered are clearly very proud of the school and are engaged in interesting and stimulating lessons. We are confident that your school would provide the perfect opportunity for Ava to achieve her potential. None of the staff or students seemed to be distracted by visitors entering the room and it was clear that the things that we saw were not “staged”.

We were particularly impressed with the size of the school and the calm atmosphere around the school, we felt that this would be a major advantage in managing the transition from primary school to secondary school for Ava.

This visit has only strengthened our determination to continue our attempts to secure a place for Ava at such an outstanding school.

Once again, thank you for arranging this visit…..and all of you fantastic staff and students for welcoming us to your school.

Michael Clarke, Rachel Fieldhouse & Ava – March 2018

We wish to pass on our thanks and gratitude to all staff concerning the time and efforts they put in to help and support our children, particularly by way of giving up time on a Saturday, over the Easter holidays/May half term etc. to put in place a revision timetable.

Please note –

A copy of a draft admissions policy has been circulated from a Warwickshire website. This draft policy has not been ratified and does not reflect the admissions arrangements for 2019. The final admissions arrangements for 2019 are outlined in the document linked to this page.

Also, when parents apply to Studley from Worcestershire, a letter is sometimes generated from Warwickshire saying Studley is full.  This is not normally the case and is a glitch in their system.  We are working with Warwickshire to resolve this.  If you receive such a letter please contact Studley High on 01527 852 478.

Parents applying outside of Warwickshire must complete a short Studley High admissions form (see below) and submit to us as well as applying online through their own authority.
