We are delighted to report that 19, ‘more able’ Year 10 students are currently taking part in a Research Project.
The students will look at general and then more specific questions to increase their knowledge of a specific subject and report back on their findings.
They are researching a question of their choice and writing a “mini-dissertation” to present their findings.
Example questions include:
- Is the use of animals in sport cruel?
- Why is 95% of the sea still undiscovered?
- Who is the most inspirational woman in History?
The students have a brilliant opportunity to work with the Alcester Grammar Sixth Form Students, who will be coming to Studley to support the students with evaluating and presenting their research. They will also be attending our Celebration assembly in July, where our students will be presenting and discussing their findings.
