Year 10 Careers Taster Day at HOW College
On 1st May 2026, Year 10 students took part in a Careers Taster Day at HOW College, exploring future education and career pathways.
Through a range of practical workshops and activities, students developed key employability skills including teamwork, communication and problem-solving. They also learned about current career opportunities and labour market trends, helping them make informed decisions about their futures.
The day provided valuable insight into different courses, qualifications and routes into further education and apprenticeships, while highlighting how GCSE subjects can link to future careers. It was an excellent opportunity for students to connect their learning with the world of work and prepare for their next steps.
