The Vision for the Trust:

• Creating opportunities to maximise personal learning to enhance the experience and aspiration of our learners, the expertise of our teachers and thus raise standards and achievement

•Strengthen the school’s specialisms [Humanities [English & Drama] and Music] through formal links with a wide range of partners and positively develop the impact with all stakeholders

•Develop further the cross phase links with primary, FE and HE to remove barriers to learning and progression

•Build leadership capacity within the partnership through widening perspectives and experience

•Having exemplary, sustainable facilities, comparable with the best, for the benefit of the school and the wider community

•Inspiring and engaging all members of the local community in education in its broadest sense, so that there are opportunities for participation at a range of levels suitable for all stakeholders

•What is the Trust’s particular focus?


•Raising standards and achievement by our student population through personalised learning

•Improving confidence and expertise within and beyond the curriculum to enable us to develop and extend each student’s skills especially in the areas of our specialism

•Challenge our students to aim to maximise their potential by working with leading professionals in a wide range of fields

•Community cohesion through a wide range of opportunities focused on the school

•Developing a broad range of accessible vocational and work related opportunities for students

•Sharing good practice with Governors, Leadership Group and partner leaders and managers to develop expertise and encourage innovative ideas

•Further improve the positive ethos and learning environment of the school

•Link with external partners will provide tangible and exciting vocational, work related and future career opportunities for students

•Raising aspirations and expectations through ‘real world’ experiences and inspirational role models for students and opening up the potential for FE and HE experiences.

•Development of innovative learning and teaching practice through ITT partners

•Broaden the experience of the Governing Body

•Embedded relationships with partners which do not rely on individual connections


•How will it support the school in maximising the outcomes of students across the five ECM areas?



•Greater opportunities and increased confidence will put students in a better position to enjoy and achieve in their education and beyond

•Specialist input, particularly in the specialisms of Music and Drama will encourage students to make a positive contribution to the community

•Enhanced links with feeder primary schools and college will facilitate transition and progression

•Possible innovations in respect to travel to school and healthy schools can help to improve the health and safety of students and their families

•Enable students to develop a positive approach to society by taking an active role in becoming financially aware and adopting a healthy, responsible adult lifestyle
