GCSE Fine Art (Year 9)
Students have been exploring the theme of ‘denim’. They have explored a range of drawing materials and treatments, and experiences what it is like to take on a challenging large scale drawing – over time.
The creation of these life-size garments was set as a homework task:
GCSE Fine Art (Year 10)
Students have been exploring the theme of homelessness and the underlying causes such as unemployment, debt and mental health. They researched the effects of homelessness on individuals, such as physical risks, isolation and depression.
The students studied the work of Henry Moore and Leonardo da Vinci in order to learn ways of representing the human form. they will move on to develop large scale paintings based on this theme.
