Ambitious Futures at University of Birmingham

Two Studley pupils were fortunate enough to be selected to attend ‘Ambitious Futures’ event at University of Birmingham this week.

Pupils spent the day involved with water sports, team building and attended a lecture on ‘Climate Change, The Physics of Hot or Cold’ – by Professor David Evans. The day ended with a tour of the campus and student accommodation.

Feedback from our pupils:

“The trip opened my mind about what University is like and what courses they offer and I would certainly consider going to University now”

Abdul Butt

“I would recommend other pupils have the opportunity to attend such events, as this has expanded my understanding of University life and I am much more confident about my direction towards higher education.”

Cody Reynolds

We would like to thank parents/carers of both pupils and the assistant head Mr Brooks for supporting completion of all required paperwork to ensure this excellent opportunity was made possible.  We would also like to express our gratitude to University of Birmingham for providing such events and accommodating our pupils.
